On our last day together, we enjoyed dinner at Vapiano's and the view from the tallest building in the USA, the Willis Tower, complete with a surprise wedding proposal.

President Weber invited the visiting students for lunch with some of the teachers. The visiting students presented their hometown Munich to the LFC students in French class in the French language. Next, they were interviewed in German by the cohort of German students in 8th grade who will go to Munich in October 2015. A Potluck is an American tradition: Everyone brings food to share. Singing at parties is a German tradition: The highlight of the evening was singing the German song "Oh, wie wohl ist mir am Abend", a canon for three voices. |
